Minneapolis, USA - June 24, 2002 (PRN): Datacard Group Thursday announced the availability of two new high-volume solutions for issuing prepaid loyalty and telephone cards - the Datacard(R) E6200 and E8200 Card Personalization Systems. Both systems are designed to make high-volume card issuance a faster, more reliable and more cost-efficient process.

The Datacard(R) E6200 Card Personalization System offers magnetic stripe encoding and inkjet printing of bar codes, logos and alphanumeric characters on preprinted loyalty cards at speeds of 10,000 cards per hour. The Datacard(R) E8200 enables low-cost, secure, mass-issuance of telephone scratch-off cards at the same throughput. Compact footprints allow either system to be easily integrated into any card production.

Both systems are available in two inkjet printer configurations. One configuration prints alphanumeric characters lengthwise on a card, while the other prints data in multiple print fields in any location on a card. Single- or dual-camera quality control technology ensures high card integrity at these brisk personalization speeds, while protecting, verifying and storing critical card data.
