Network Security Company-PivX, Adds Top Data Center Expert as CTO.  Newport Beach, CA - July 31, 2002 (PRN):PivX Solutions, a leader in Network Security and Risk and Vulnerability Assessments is pleased to announce the hiring of one of the worlds pre-eminent network and data center experts, Sam Balooch. Most recently Mr. Balooch was the Director of Data Centers for Wingcast Technologies. Wingcast was a $500 million telematics joint venture between Ford, Qualcomm, Oracle and Nissan. Mr. Balooch was responsible for developing the spec's, choosing and integrating myriad worldwide technology vendors and ultimately the building of a $50 million state of the art data center. Previously Mr. Balooch was VP of Operations for Tornado Development and Lead of Worldwide Data Centers for Silicon Graphics. Sam graduated from University of California Berkeley's School of Engineering. Mr. Balooch just concluded an investigation in connection with the FBI, the Department of Justice and the US Attorney's Office. A hacker by the name of Secret Squirrel was successfully prosecuted in US Federal Court. Mr. Balooch assisted the DOJ with the investigation and acted as the key prosecution witness. Thanks to Mr. Balooch, Mr. Squirrel was found guilty and is set to be sentenced to Federal Prison for his actions.
