NextG Networks, Inc. expands management team - names Joe Veni, Vice President of Sales, and Ron Kramer, Senior Director of Legal Affairs.

NextG Networks, Inc., a leading provider of metro wireless networking solutions, announces its appointment of Joe Veni as Vice President of Sales, and Ron Kramer as Senior Director of Legal Affairs.
Joe Veni brings to NextG over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and wireless industries. Prior to joining NextG, Mr. Veni was Vice President of Sales at LGC Wireless where he built and managed a world-wide sales team. Before LGC, he was part of the start-up team that took Spectrian Corp. through an IPO and secondary public offering raising over $110M, and achieved a total market value of $1B. At Spectrian Mr. Veni held several key management positions including Vice President, Sales, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and Executive Vice President & General Manager of Spectrian’s Single Carrier Amplifier Division, which achieved annual sales of $115M.
Ron Kramer augments NextG’s management team with over 14 years experience advising startup and public companies in a wide variety of legal and transactional matters. Prior to joining NextG, Mr. Kramer was a Senior Attorney at OnFiber Communications, a last mile fiber optic start-up company. Before that, Mr. Kramer was Lead Counsel at Metricom, Inc. where he led a ten attorney team negotiating the deployment of Metricom’s Ricochet network infrastructure across the United States. Mr. Kramer was also an associate at Rosenblum, Parish & Isaacs and The Skornia Law Firm in San Jose, California, where his practice emphasized corporate-securities matters.
